Art Combined Textiles Finals

textiles based finals, set on the sea environment which I produced for Art combined. It is built on fibres which I made and dyed, I have then worked on to them using suffolk puffs and quarter circles which I sprinkled a small amount of brush dye on to. I have made these pieces 'grow' up the background in an organic style. I also waxed some fabric that I had dyed and rolled up, I then cut them in to small pieces and attached them to look like barnacles. One of these pieces also include detailed beading which is mostly hidden around and under the fabric, and the other includes heat manipulated fabric and couching, which I have worked in to with a sewing machine.
